Join Cherie Haury-Artz from the University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist to learn about the Indigenous cultures of Iowa, with a special focus on the Ioway and Meskwaki and their contributions to our understanding of Iowa's archaeological past. Cherie will discuss the deep history from the archaeological record emphasizing that these were cultures with their own social and political structures and touch on the experiences of the Ioway and Meskwaki that point to modern Indigenous activities.

This presentation at the Bondurant Community Library will be in Group Study Room B.
