With approximately 275 postdoctoral scholars and fellows, the UIPDA advocates for constructive changes in the professional and administrative policies that affect the lives of postdocs and their dependents. Our postdocs come a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Below are resources to help our sub-communities navigate their experience as a UI postdoc.

The UIPDA leadership partners and regularly meets with several departments on campus to support and improve your postdoctoral experience. We also coordinate with leadership Shared Governance and trainee organizations to combine efforts on issues related to our training experiences and our temporary employee status. Please let us know how we can better support you or advocate on your behalf.
