Biography
Department: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Research interests: I work with G-quadruplexes (non-canonical DNA structures). They are important structures in our cells but how they get processed during DNA replication is unknown. I utilize biochemical and single-molecule techniques to understand how they get resolved. If not resolved, they can lead to replication stress and genomic instability (hallmark of cancer).
Hometown: Delhi, India
Hobbies: Indoor gardening, aquarium keeping, hiking, cooking, and playing board games
