Research interests: My research spans two interconnected areas. In innate immunity, I investigate pattern recognition receptor (PRR) sensors and the role of RIPK2 signaling in immune responses, understanding how the body detects and responds to threats at the molecular level. Alongside this, I study red blood cell biology in the context of radiation exposure, exploring how ionizing radiation affects hematopoietic cells and their function. Together, my work sits at the intersection of basic immunology and radiation biology, with potential implications for clinical and therapeutic applications.

Hometown: Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India

Hobbies: Outside the lab, I enjoy writing stories, practicing yoga, and spending time in nature. I believe a balanced mind makes a better scientist and a better colleague.
