Fierce Discussion Panel

Join us at Voxman for an invigorating conversation with the creators and performers of Fierce, an electrifying new opera gracing the stage of Hancher Auditorium on April 26 and 27! 

Composer, director, and UI faculty member Dr. William Menefield will be joined by librettist Sheila Williams, alongside the UI students starring in the work. During the panel discussion, Dr. Menefield, Ms. Williams, and the student cast members, including Brie Bevans as Morgan, Finley McVay as Nyomi, Kate O'Connell as Rumer, and Madeline Yankell as Vesta, will discuss the creative process behind Fierce and what it took to bring this creation to Iowa audiences, and will answer audience questions.
